When Duggal Visual Solutions connected Laurence G. Jones Architects (LGJA) and Jamaican artist Kianne Patrice Hutchinson, the two found a perfect match of architectural vision and artistic style.
Collaborating remotely with a Duggal consultant, LGJA and Hutchinson brought a wave of Caribbean flair to the lobby at 145 East 32nd Street in Manhattan, an NYU Langone medical building owned by Meyer Equities.
Hutchinson’s digital artwork comes to life on Vibrachrome® metal prints including a five-panel, 20-foot-long piece, with gallery-float framing. The aluminum gives the imagery extra vibrancy and durability, while the Plexi mounts add dimension and contemporary appeal. The installation is yet another example of people doing amazing things with our metal prints.
